Rheingau Gourmet & Wein Festival – Eltville Am Rhein

The Rheingau Gourmet & Wein Festival is a glamorous fixture in the world of gastronomy. In late February and early March 2020, the team at the Kronenschlösschen in Eltville will be assembling around 40 Michelin-starred chefs as well as the world’s best wine producers for the 24th edition of this glittering gourmet event.

For two and a half weeks, the culinary mecca on the Rhine, which is just 290km from Lanaken, will be hosting a series of Michelin-starred lunches and dinners. And, for the very first time, the festival will also include a Belgian chef: our very own Ralf Berendsen and his team from Restaurant La Source!

Their gala dinner starts at 7.30pm and features fine liquid accompaniments supplied by top winemakers:

  • Forstmeister Geltz-Zilliken, Mosel
  • David Ramey, Napa Valley, California
  • Lurton Family Group, Bordeaux with, among others, Château Haut-Bages Liberal, Pauillac 5ème Grand Cru Classé 2011 | Château Ferrière, Margaux 3ème Grand Cru Classé 2014 and Châteaux Durfort-Vivens, Margaux 2ème Grand Cru Classé 2011
